Local Beches
Mwnt
Mwnt is a National Trust beach just north of Cardigan. There is a large pay and display car park above the beach and a shop and toilets partway down the path leading to the beach. This is a good place to see butterflies, Dolphins and Choughs.
Aberporth
There are two pay car parks between the two beaches.
Aberporth
There are two entirely separate beaches at Aberporth.
Penbryn
This National Trust beach is between Llangrannog and Tresaith. There is a large NT car park half a mile from the beach. The beach is much larger than it appears in this photo.
Tresaith
An excellent beach for water sports - wide and sandy, but limited parking.
Llangrannog
A short drive from Parc Gwair Cottage
There is a free car park above the village, and a pay car park right above the beach, two pubs and two
lovely sea front cafes.

Cwmtydu
Parc Gwairs nearest beach and the start of the coastal
walk to New Quay.
There is limited free parking near the beach and parking
further back along the Llwyndafydd road. Atlantic Grey Seals
can often be seen with their pups here in September.
Dolau Beach, New Quay
Short drive from Parc Gwair or a fantastic costal walk from Cwmtydu
The small beach to the east of the pier.
Seal Bay
A lovely walk from Parc Gwair Cottage.
Accessible by coastal path from Cwmtydu or by footpath from Nanternis.
New Quay
Wide, sandy and well protected from the breeze, New Quay's main beach has a blue flag.
Traethgwyn Beach, New Quay
Between New Quay and Cei Bach, a very quite and large beach.
Cei Bach, New Quay
Cei Bach is a short drive from Parc Gwair. There are seldom many people at Cei Bach and dogs are allowed on the beach! The Cei Bach Country Pub and restaurant is also at Cei Bach.
